Hello! We’d love to introduce ourselves. We are Pamela L Rogers, Robin Stella, and Nick DiFranco. We are proud Middletown, NJ, parents who are interested in serving on the school board.We each have children who attend Middletown Public Schools. While we love raising our children here, in Middletown, winner of Safewise’s “safest town in NJ to raise a child”, we do feel that there is always room for improvement in our public school education.

We are asking voters to give us the opportunity to dive deeper into former and current Middletown board of education spending. Our goal is to look for cost saving opportunities, thus freeing up funds for additional programs that would benefit our children. If elected, Our team is committed to doing so without raising school taxes over the next two years.

Rogers, Stella, and DiFranco look forward to the possible opportunity to find new ways to work with Middletown township on shared services. Although we do share some programs with the Middletown Arts Center and Croydon Hall, we feel that children could benefit from utilizing their before and after-care time for enrichment programs on their own public school campus.

Although we are all from the River Plaza area, we feel very strongly about keeping all programs uniform across the district so that students from every school in the district have access to the same programs and clubs. We feel very passionate about continuing to emphasize STEM, expanding High School languages to include German and Chinese, putting more emphasis on showing your work in Middle School Math, adding a National Junior Honor Society to all middle schools, emphasizing Next Generation Science Standards and considering reinstitution of the Gifted and Talented Programs Township wide.

Our children students and athletes. We have been watching the progress and are proud of the work being done on Middletown South’s football field. We hope to bring all Middletown Elementary School fields and grounds up to the same par.
