MIDDLETOWN, NJ — At least one person, but possibly as many as three, were injured in a car crash on Cherry Tree Farm Road and Wilson Avenue Monday afternoon in Middletown, according to local EMS volunteers. The accident occurred around 1:30 p.m. Monday. Port Monmouth First Aid, Middletown Emergency Medical Services, along with MONOC paramedics and the fire department, all responded. The fire department was called in to extricate at least one of the people involved. At least one person was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, but three ambulances were called to the scene. Middletown police did not release any more information about the crash when asked by Patch.
