More than 300 walkers recently joined together on the Long Branch promenade for the 10th annual Big Steps for Little Feet Walk.

More than 300 walkers, including graduates of the Hirair and Anna Hovnanian Foundation Regional Newborn Center (RNC), recently joined together on the Long Branch promenade for the 10th annual Big Steps for Little Feet Walk to benefit RNC at The Unterberg Children’s Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center.
Underwritten by Pediatrix Medical Group, the event raised more than $85,000 to support the RNC, which specializes in care for high-risk premature and critically ill newborns. In addition to family-friendly entertainment, activities for children and light refreshments, retired NJ Devils’ defenseman Colin White lent his support, signing autographs and posing for pictures.
As the first level III NICU in New Jersey and one of the nation’s best in terms of survival rates, the Hirair and Anna Hovnanian Foundation Regional Newborn Center at The Unterberg Children’s Hospital at Monmouth Medial Center provides specialized care for more than 500 babies annually – including those weighing less than a pound and born at just 24 weeks gestation.
