19 Inches in Middletown

Middletown, NJ - The Leonardo section of Middletown recorded 19 inches Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.

That leads Monmouth County, in terms of reported snowfall to the NWS. (Note: This is who reports snow height to the National Weather Service; it could be higher, unreported, elsewhere.)

Police ask that you limit any non-essential travel on Sunday, as crews are still cleaning the roads.

The snow was heaviest in the central part of the state, and turned to rain at the Shore. Shore towns in Ocean and Atlantic County experienced very bad, Sandy-level flooding. Monmouth County waterfront communities experienced minor to moderate flooding.

Trenton: 16 inches

Toms River: 15 inches
