While the family slept inside the home, surveillance video shows two men wearing all black walking onto the property. They removed the blocks that kept the trailer from rolling away, and then lifted the trailer by hand and walked off with it.
Middletown Police confirmed to Patch that the incident remains under investigation. It is believed the men attached the trailer to a hitch and drove off. The trailer was recovered Wednesday in Edison, without the personal watercraft.
