2nd Arrest This Year For WWE Star Tammy Sytch Of New Jersey

KEANSBURG, NJ — For the second time in 2022, a former professional wrestling star was arrested in the town where she lives, Keansburg.

The former WWE star is Tammy Sytch, who was charged with DUI and driving with a suspended license last Thursday, Feb. 24, according to WrestlingNews.com.

According to their report, Sytch was taken into police custody and charged with a litany of driving offenses, including driving a car while under the influence of alcohol or drugs; driving with a license that was either suspended or revoked; careless driving, reckless driving; failure to install an interlock on her car; failure to wear a seat belt, failure to have an insurance card and other citations.

This was also the second time police say they found Sytch driving a car while her license was suspended.

Sytch, more commonly known by her ring name "Sunny," is known by her fans as the first WWF "Diva." She was at the height of her career in the 1990s. Sytch now lives in Keansburg.

This is also the second time she was arrested so far in 2022: In January, Sytch was taken into police custody and briefly held at the Monmouth County Jail after Keansburg Police say she threatened to kill a man she was dating with a pair of scissors.

Police said she was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time.

Sytch was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.

According to her Wikipedia entry, Sytch is originally from Matawan. She has multiple prior DUI arrests in Pennsylvania.
