LINCROFT, NJ — After 20 years in business, the McDonald's on Newman Springs Road in Lincroft is closing, the Jounal News was first to report.

Yes, the McDonald's quietly and abruptly closed their doors for good this past Sunday, Sept. 22.

It remains unknown why that McDonald's closed. It was owned by franchise owner Ken Hullings, who owns other McDonald's in the area, according to the Asbury Park Press.

It also remains unknown what will be opening there in its place.

"Thank you to all the customers that we have met over the past twenty years," read a sign on the door posted Sunday, according to the APP. "It has been our pleasure to serve you."
