All The December Events At The Middletown Library

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Here are all the events happening this December at the Middletown Public Library for children, teens and adults.

The Gift of Chocolate: virtual program featuring Lee Perrotta – December 1 at 7:00 p.m.: Join via Zoom to learn to make mouthwatering chocolate gifts for the holidays. This virtual program is geared toward adults.

Teen Creative Writing Club: Holiday Stories – December 6 at 4:00 p.m.: Teens interested in writing are invited to join the Creative Writing Club for a holiday story themed session.

Multi-generational Ornament Making – December 7 at 3:30 p.m.: Come to the community room and create an ornament to keep or to give as a gift! Please visit the library calendar to sign up, as space and supplies are limited! This is an activity children can do with their parents or a grandparent.

Mehendi: The Art of Henna – December 7 at 6:30 p.m.: Learn how to draw traditional Indian motifs, use henna application techniques, and create your own designs. This program is intended for tweens and teens.

Band of the Two Rivers Holiday Concert – December 10 at 2:00 p.m.: Enjoy holiday music performed by Monmouth County's own Band of the Two Rivers. Suitable for all ages.

Local author talk: "Nimrod" by Ryan Roberts – December 12 at 7:00 p.m.: Meet local Middletown author Ryan Roberts as he discusses his debut novel, "Nimrod." Green Day fans won’t want to miss this program! Teens & adults welcome.

“It’s a Wonderful Life” presented by Classic Radio Show – December 17 at 2:00 p.m.: Get in the holiday spirit with Classic Radio Show’s rendition of this classic story. This program is geared toward adults.

Shore Voices Holiday Concert – December 20 at 7:00 p.m.: The Shore Voices women's acapella group will perform their annual holiday concert, which is suitable for all ages!
