All The June Events For Kids/Teens At Middletown Library

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Everything for toddlers, kids, tweens and teens this June at the Middletown Public Library:

Early Registration for Summer Reading Challenge begins June 1: Visit mtpl.org to join a summer reading challenge on MTPL’s Beanstack reading tracker page. The early registration prize drawing is on June 30 and logging begins on June 19.

Andrew’s Big Circus Show: All Together Now (Children’s Summer Reading Kick-off) – June 13 at 3 p.m.: Kick off the summer and join Andrew for a family friendly circus show featuring juggling, circus tricks and more!

Summer Reading Kickoff Movie Night for Teens – June 14 at 6 p.m.: Teens are invited to kick off summer reading, enjoy snacks and watch Everything Everything. Attendees will receive a free book!

Dinosaur Bones and Tales with Monmouth County Parks System – June 15 at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.: Learn about the animals and plants that lived on earth millions of years ago with naturalists from MCPS. Registration is required.

Celebrate Skateboard Day with Purple Monkey Skateboards (for Teens) – June 20 at 7:00 p.m.: Mike Rodriguez from Purple Monkey Skateboards will discuss his inspiration, vision and process at this teen program.

Eyes of the Wild: All Together Now – June 22 at 10 a.m. (for children with special needs) & 11 a.m.: Learn about different animals from around the globe, with a focus on how they interact with each other and with humans. Registration is required.

Penguin Pointers presented by Jenkinson’s Aquarium – June 28 at 4 and 4:30 p.m.: Come and meet one of Jenkinson’s Aquarium’s penguins while learning about them and their wild cousins. Registration is required.

Summer Storytime – Every Friday at 10 a.m. starting June 2: Open to all ages but best for Pre-K to 8-year-olds!
