For Lori Sawyer, Middletown resident and owner of LS-Fitness and Mommy-Moves, the decision to help was easy. “I have known Justin Legg my entire life and I am happy to do whatever I can to help him complete his goal.”
Justin Legg, a retired Navy Seal, leukemia survivor, bone marrow transplant recipient and double lung transplant survivor is running the Virginia Beach half marathon in September. His goal is to raise $50,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and be able to name one of their research projects in honor of his lung donor, Jarred Carter.
Lori has been teaching beach boot camp in Monmouth County for 3 years. The last class of the summer session will be dedicated to Justin. The class costs only $20 per person and all proceeds will be donated to Justin in support of his goal.
