Middletown Soccer Club Invites Players to Try Out for Travel Teams

The Middletown Soccer Club invites prospective players aged 7-18 to try out for travel soccer teams. There is no residency requirement, nor a fee to try out. 

Different age groups hold tryouts on different days, from April 29 thru May 7. Consult the website, middletownsoccer.com to learn more about tryouts. See list below for age group information.

• Soccer Tryouts for all travel teams will be held at Fairview Fields located on Oak Hill Road off Highway 35 South. Players should pre-register on the club website. Rain dates will be held at the same time and location 2 weeks from the original date.

• All players trying out for a team must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian a signature is required on the registration form.
• All players must play in their proper age group. No players may play in an older age group without going through the tryout process for evaluation.
• All players must wear shin guards & cleats. 
• All players should arrive 20 minutes before tryout time to register.
• Current players are not permitted to wear any part of their uniforms i.e. shorts, socks, or shirt to tryout.
• All players will be notified no later than July 1st of their try¬out results.
• The USYSA now permits U-7 participation in travel soccer on U8 teams. U-7 would have to play U-8 again the following year to remain in their age group.
