Apple Fest & Scarecrow Creation and Exhibit at Poricy Park in Middletown

Annual Apple Fest and 3rd Annual Phantasmic Fall Event Series

Saturday, October 11th, 1:30pm-3:00pm

Apple Fest: Discover your favorite type of apple as you explore and celebrate the “foreign” fruit. There will be apples to taste, apples to press, apples to dry at the Apple Fest. Put your shoulder to the cider press while learning all about this versatile fall crop. There’ll even have a pie eating contest! Appropriate for all ages (children must be accompanied by their adult). Please courteously register in advance at the Nature Center 732-842-5966, Mon-Fri 9am-4pm. MEET AT THE MURRAY FARMSTEAD

Apple Fest is FREE: Donations gratefully accepted and will help support the continuing educational programming as well as being tax deductible!

Scarecrow Creation & Exhibit: Embrace the fall season at Poricy Park while showing your creativity and support. Sponsor and decorate a scarecrow to be displayed at the Park. Great for families, school groups, PTA. Your Scarecrow will be proudly displayed as a supporter of Poricy Park preservation. Build your scarecrow from 2:00pm-3:00pm on October 11th during the Apple Fest, or bring your finished scarecrow to Nature Center and it will be displayed through November 11th!
