April Events For Kids And Teens At Middletown Library
The Middletown Library has so many great events planned for kids and teens for the entire month of April. All are free:

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Celebrate spring break, National Poetry Month and Earth Day at the Middletown Township Public Library with April programs for children and teens.
All the free events planned:
Cartooning Lessons with Mike Dawson – April 4 at 11 a.m.: The local cartoonist behind The Fifth Quarter series returns for cartooning lessons. This program is for grades 3 and up and registration is required.

Plant a Garden for Teens – April 5 at 4 p.m.: Decorate a ceramic pot and plant a seed just in time for Earth Day at this teen program.
Water Safety Presentation for Grades K through 5 – April 5 at 4 p.m.: Bubbles (the official goldfish mascot) and an instructor from Goldfish Swim School will lead a fun, interactive program to help children learn about water safety.

Minecraft Mining Building Basics & Advanced – April 6 at 10 a.m. (ages 5-8) and 11 a.m. (ages 9-12): Bring Minecraft to life using LEGO bricks at a Snapology program. Please register for the appropriate age-group session.
Nature on the Go: Forests – April 19 at 4 p.m.: Learn about forests as Monmouth County Parks System’s eye- catching nature van visits the Middletown Library just in time for Earth Day.
Still Life Drawing Class with One River Art Studio – April 19 at 7 p.m.: Learn how to draw a still life from observation with pencils and charcoal at this teen program. Registration is required.
Artist Café Spotlight on Writing & Poetry – April 22 at 2 p.m.: Writers and poets are invited to attend a panel discussion that will be followed by networking and an opportunity to share works via open mic. For teens & adults.
Dollars & Sense: The Game of Life with United Teletech Financial – April 26 at 7 p.m.: Learn budgeting life lessons with twists and turns at this fun program for high school students.
