Atlantic Highlands Chamber of Commerce Classic Car Show Will Be Held Saturday, June 10

This Will Be The Ninth Year That The Popular Free Family Event Featuring Beautiful Cars Is Returning to First Avenue in Atlantic Highlands

The Atlantic Highlands Chamber of Commerce Classic Car Show will be held on Saturday, June 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will take place along First Avenue, the main business district. The rain date is Saturday, June 11. This is the ninth year that the immensely popular event, which unites car enthusiasts and beautiful automobiles from every year, make and model, will be held. Over 100 cars will be on display. All classes are welcome including domestic, imports, vintage, antique, collector, classic, muscle, hot rod and custom.

The event is free to spectators and will include children’s activities like face painting and costumed characters; musical entertainment from Lake House Music Academy, Jacks Vibe and Papa John Bug. The costumed characters are provided courtesy of My FairyTale Dreams, owned by local resident Brandy Bisking. There will be a variety of street vendors, and local businesses will be open with many running special promotions. The event offers an excellent opportunity to see the diversity of small businesses located in the seaside enclave of Atlantic Highlands. Limited vendor spaces are still available for $50. Entrance fees for show vehicles are $15 in advance or $20 on the day of the event. There will be goodie bags for all participants and trophies and awards including Best In Show, Mayor’s Choice, Peoples’ Choice, and many others including an award for the car club with the largest degree of participation.

The event is being produced by Corinna Thuss of Brightwork Events. Recently recruited to the team is Lori Anne Oliwa, president of The Write Angles Public Relations & Event Planning, a long-time creator of car shows, cruise nights and other events in the region.

Event sponsors to date include Jim Curley Buick/GMC/Kia Dealers; TeaScapes; Carton Brewing Company; Raceway Park; Atlantic Bagels; Gianni’s Italian Specialties; Lake House Music Academy; Resources Real Estate, Bayside Manor Assisted Living & Special Care; and Justin Sonata/Edward Jones.
