Bayshore Pharmacy Discontinues Plastic Bags, Holds Open House
Bayshore Pharmacy in Atlantic Highlands announced they will no longer be using plastic bags and will instead give shoppers brown paper bags.

ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ — Yet another business to discontinue the use of plastic bags. Bayshore Pharmacy in Atlantic Highlands announced today they will no longer be using plastic bags and will instead give shoppers their purchases in recyclable paper bags.
Bayshore Pharmacy is located at the Super Foodtown Plaza at 2 Bayshore Plaza in Atlantic Highlands and is a second-generation locally owned family pharmacy. They will also be giving away free Bayshore Pharmacy tote bags to the first 100 shoppers (while supplies last) at their open house this Saturday, Nov. 16 from 1-4 p.m.
Come for free blood pressure screenings done provided by IMA of Port Monmouth. The Henry Hudson Regional High School a capella choir will perform and the Tri-M Music Honors Society students will sell hot dogs and hot cider with all proceeds to benefit Henry Hudson School.

They will have a food pantry box for donations of paper products and detergents. Monetary donations are accepted. The donations will be distributed by the United Methodist Church, located on Third Avenue in Atlantic Highlands.
