MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Yup, time to *really* check your pockets if you live in the Belford area and play the lottery.
That's because a tiny, little convenience store on Main Street in Belford, the One Stop Food Store, sold a lottery ticket this week that won the $253,446 Jersey Cash 5 Jackpot, the New Jersey state lottery announced Wednesday morning. The ticket matched another ticket sold in Atlantic County, so the winners will split the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot, each taking home $126,726, before taxes.
