Belford Redevelopment Study Presented To Middletown Township Committee

Middletown has long sought to redevelop the Port Belford area. Read the brand-new redevelopment study here:

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Here is video of the most recent Middletown Township Committee meeting, held last Monday, May 15.

At the meeting, the Township Committee had their annual "Mayor For A Day," where three local elementary school students got to see what it was like running Middletown for a day. A proclamation was also presented to a group of people that helped rescue a family of four from a burning house on Marvin Road.

And perhaps most importantly, the Port Belford Redevelopment Study was presented to the Township Committee. The engineering firm T&M Associates were hired to conduct a study of the Belford wetlands around the ferry and Belford Seafood Co-op. That is an area of Middletown that the Township has long eyed for redevelopment. You can access the study here:
