Located in Middletown, the candy store owned by Susan and Stan Hordych, has once again been voted by readers of the Monmouth Health & Life Magazine as the Best Chocolate in Monmouth County. According to Susan Hordych, “When I received the phone call earlier this week from representatives of the magazine, it was a fantastic feeling to achieve our goal of being voted the best chocolate for the fifth year in a row. We would like to thank our customers and all those who voted for us. We are passionate about creating the very best chocolate we can and are thrilled to be able to do what we love every day.”
Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe has been creating homemade chocolate, fudge and candy confections since 1998 and have been featured on ABC News 7 for National Peanut Butter Fudge Day. Their hand-dipped strawberries and pretzels are among their customer’s favorites and the company specializes in corporate gift baskets, party platters and branded favors and gifts.
