Body Found Behind Senior Home Was Resident Who Died of Natural Causes: Police

The body was found outdoors, behind the senior center Tuesday morning, police said.

Middletown, NJ - A body found behind a senior living complex in Middletown Tuesday morning was that of a resident there who died of natural causes, police told Patch Tuesday evening.

The body was found outdoors, behind the Arbor Terrace Senior Living facility, sometime before 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, police said. Police said they did not know how long the body was outside the center before it was found.

After a brief investigation at the scene, police announced the death was not suspicious Tuesday morning, Middletown’s Deputy Chief of Police Stephen Dollinger said.

An Arbor Terrace spokeswoman said the senior home sends their heartfelt condolences to the family.

Arbor Terrace is at 1800 Rt. 35 South, near the intersection of Cherry Tree Lane and Old Country Road in Middletown Township.
