Booskerdoo Coffee Will Open Inside Sickles Market In Little Silver

Good news, coffee lovers. They are planning an April or May opening inside the original Sickles in Little Silver.

LITTLE SILVER, NJ — Booskerdoo coffee shop is continuing their expansion across Monmouth County:

The husband-wife owned coffee shop announced this week they plan to open inside the original Sickles Market in Little Silver. Booskerdoo announced this Tuesday on their Facebook page. They said they are planning an April or May opening; James Caverly, who started Booskerdoo with his wife, Amelia, told the Asbury Park Press they are hoping for mid-April.

This will be a full coffee shop/cafe/bakery inside popular local market Sickles. They will sell all the fresh-roasted coffee, teas, matcha, baked good and sandwiches that Booskerdoo is known for.

"The cafe will be seen right when you walk into Sickles Market," Caverly told the Asbury Park Press.

In unfortunate news for many in this area, the Sickles Market outpost in Red Bank closed in mid February. The Red Bank Sickles was a satellite location of the original Sickles in Little Silver and it had been open in Red Bank since 2020.

There is a small Booskerdoo inside the Sickles Red Bank, in the Anderson building, and that remains open.

Sickles owners said "the repercussions of the pandemic never allowed us to fully turn (the Red Bank) location into what we had dreamed. Sometimes you have to take a step back in order to move forward. This is the step we are taking to do just that."

"To say we are heartbroken does not quite cover it," they added.
