Bray Avenue Deli Sells Big-Winning Lottery Ticket

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Three lucky tickets matched all five numbers drawn, splitting the $1,357,344 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Wednesday, Aug. 8 drawing, the NJ state lottery announced Thursday morning. Those three tickets were sold at the following locations:

• Essex County: Barbara Grocery and Deli, 58 Barbara St., Newark;
• Monmouth County: Bray Ave Deli & Grocery, 190 Bray Ave., Middletown; and
• Monmouth County: South Main Fuel, 2 South Main St., Marlboro.

Each ticket is worth $452,448.

The winning numbers were: 06, 10, 16, 27 and 40 and the XTRA number was: 04. The three winners have not yet come forward as of Thursday morning. So, check your pockets if you bought a lottery ticket at Bray Avenue Deli recently!
