The Brookdale Community College Bookstore is hosting a book drive for the James Monroe Elementary School during the first two weeks of April. Having lost their school to a devastating fire, James Monroe Elementary students are in need of books for their classrooms and library usage. All children’s books at Brookdale’s Scroll & Pen Bookstore will be discounted 10% for the drive. Store hours are Monday and Tuesday – 8 AM to 7 PM, Wednesday and Thursday – 8 AM to 6 PM, and Friday – 8 AM to 5 PM. Books purchased will be shipped to the temporary location at Middlesex Community College.
