Brookdale Professor's Novel Raises Funds For 2 Food Pantries
Associate Professor Debbie Mura wrote the novel "Stronger Than The Storm" for teens; it's based on experiences after Superstorm Sandy.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — Type the words "life's a ..." into Google and the first thing that pops up is "beach." It's a phrase that to most implies an idyllic existence.
As those who lived at the Shore through the ravages of Superstorm Sandy and its aftermath can tell you, living at the beach isn't always a dream come true.
It is the backdrop of the recovery from Sandy that Toms River resident Debbie Mura uses for her novel, "Stronger Than The Storm."
