Pickleball Players Wanted!
Pickleball players and community supporters are invited to take part in Monmouth County Habitat for Humanity’s 5th Annual “Hitting Close to Home” Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 6–10 PM at New Shrewsbury Racquet Club.
The annual fundraiser brings together more than 100 pickleball players for a fun, high-energy evening!
Proceeds from the event benefit Monmouth Habitat’s Housing Programs, including LIFT Veterans Build Home Repairs, Ramps & Rails, Affordable Housing, and A Brush with Kindness. These programs help local families, seniors, and veterans remain safe and stable in their homes throughout Monmouth County.
The tournament’s mixed doubles rotating partner format makes it especially welcoming for players who may not usually compete in tournaments. Participants register individually and are paired with a different partner each round, creating a social and exciting experience with 6 - 7 guaranteed games.
Registration is $100 per player, which includes a tournament shirt and medals for winners.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Local businesses and organizations are invited to participate through event sponsorships, which help support Monmouth Habitat’s mission while offering visibility within the community. Some sponsorships include player places while these are available.
Silent Auction Donations
Monmouth Habitat for Humanity is also seeking silent auction donations, such as sports tickets, restaurant gift cards, products, or unique experiences. Please contact us if you have anything you would to donate. This will be going live soon so check our website!
