Live Performance of My Favorite Husband
Don't miss two delightful radio play comedies! My Favorite Husband originally starred Lucille Ball with Richard Denning and was produced on radio before 'I Love Lucy',
but contained many similar hilarious scenarios. In 'Katy &
Roscoe', Katy the maid switches places with the lady of the house to
impress a suitor. Things get out of hand when Liz's unwitting husband
comes home!
In 'The Young
Matron's League Tryouts', Liz wants to audition for a play against
George's (her husband's) wishes. She is rehearsing delirious laughter,
crying and barking at home when George overhears her and brings a
psychiatrist to treat her thinking she's lost her mind!
The performance will include a parody of period radio commercials written for CRRS by Anthony Aversano.
