The Cancer Support Community at Monmouth Medical Center Presents Medicare & You
The workshop designed to help people navigate Medicare, on Wednesday, June 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Choosing the right Medicare plan can be confusing and difficult—especially for those affected by cancer. The Cancer Support Community at Monmouth Medical Center presents Medicare & You, a workshop designed to help people navigate Medicare, on Wednesday, June 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This interactive workshop will be led by Samantha White, a State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) counselor for Monmouth County. She is trained in all areas of health insurance, including: the benefits that affect Medicare beneficiaries, claim information and health insurance options. She will discuss the various Medicare and drug coverage plans, and answer attendees’ questions. A light lunch will be served.
This workshop will be held at the Cancer Support Community at Monmouth Medical Center, located at 300 Second Avenue, Suite ST-007 in Long Branch. Registration is required by calling the Cancer Support Community at 732-923-6090.

The Cancer Support Community (CSC) offers supportive programs, education, and hope for individuals affected by a cancer diagnosis, no matter where treatment is received. Monthly programs include relaxation and guided imagery, yoga, mindfulness meditation, exercise for strength, support groups and much more.
