CBA Students Commit To Continue Their Sport At The College Level

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — On Wednesday of this week, nine students from Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft committed to continue their sport at the college level.

Christian Brothers Academy, known locally as CBA, is a private Catholic boys' prep school in the Lincroft section of Middletown, in the LaSallian Christian tradition. The boys have to wear a suit and tie to class.

The students are pictured at their Nov. 10 "Signing Day" ceremony with Christian Brothers Academy President Brother Tom Gerrow and Director of Athletics Michael Mazzaccaro.

The local teens are:

Nick Tapinis, from Colts Neck - Fairfield University (Crew)
Ethan Wilson, from Colts Neck - College of the Holy Cross (Crew)
Austin Straley, from Holmdel - University of Pennsylvania (Crew)
Shane Gazdus, from Shrewsbury - Cornell University (Crew)
Robby Manse, from Lincroft - U.S. Military Academy (Track & Field)
Tyler Mayerhoff, from Colts Neck - University of North Carolina (Track & Field)
Colin Reilly, from Sea Girt - Tulane University (Baseball)
Jack Frankovic, from Little Silver - Lehigh University (Baseball)
Hugh Straine, from Rumson - Bucknell University (Track & Field)
