"The Thanksgiving holiday extended weekend is statistically one of the busier times of the year, when it comes to impaired drivers on our roads," said Allenhurst Police Chief Michael Schneider, who leads the task force. "The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will be operating two details within a 3-day period, in an effort to make people more aware and drivers around the county more safe."
The saturation patrols will be working varied hours, between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m., depending on the town.
