Closing Weekend for 'Drowsy Chaperone'

Relatively new Stone Church Players trying to get the word out

Billed as "an evening of dizzying and delicious fun," the The Stone Church Players' final performances of Lisa Lambert’s and Greg Morrison’s "musical within a comedy," The Drowsy Chaperone will run this weekend at the historic Stone Church, 202 Navesink Ave., in the Navesink section of Middletown.

The five-time Tony award-winning musical transports audiences away to a Golden Age, folly-filled stage setting, whereupon tap-dancing movie stars, Latin lovers and gangsters croon and swing away the blues of a humdrum day.  The show offers a modern, musical spin on a classic comedy, a release from the community theater group said.

General Admission tickets for The Drowsy Chaperone may be purchased at the door or by contacting the Stone Church via phone 732-291-0214 or email  boxoffice@allsaintsnavesink.org
