A date is set for Middletown's Santa Ferry Ride. Leave from the Belford terminal with Santa for caroling and views of the Statue of Liberty.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — We know, we know: Halloween is not even here, but it's already time to start thinking about Christmas!
Middletown Township has already set the 2017 date for its annual Santa Ferry Ride. The date for the ferry ride this year will be Saturday, December 2 and rides will be at 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Rides fill up fast! You must register in advance and you can find the registration form here. The rides are open to Middletown residents and non-residents. Bring your completed registration form to Poricy Park or fill one out at Poricy Park, 345 Oak Hill Road between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Ride tickets are $20 per person this year, up from $17 in past years.
Middletown started offering the Santa Ferry Rides in 2015, and they've become enormously popular. Ferry rides leave every December from the NY Waterway Belford Ferry Terminal in Belford and include not only Santa and his friends, but also caroling, goodie bags and a scenic view of the Statue of Liberty.
