Dead Body Found On Ideal Beach In Middletown

There was no sign of trauma or other indication of criminal involvement, said police. The body was discovered at 6:20 a.m. Monday.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — A body was found washed ashore on Ideal Beach in Middletown at 6:20 a.m. Monday, according to Middletown Police.

The body was discovered by passersby, who in turn contacted police. There is no sign of trauma or other indication of criminal involvement at this time, said police.

Police said the body has not been identified and there are no additional details being released at this time, including gender or age.
