The Township Committee adopted 7 ordinances, 2 of which provided easements for the Pt. Monmouth Flood Control Project to continue. Another acquired property on Ideal Ave due to a lien placed on the property. Another ordinance authorized an easement swap. 3 ordinances were adopted to borrow funds for various capital improvements. One spends $119k to purchase an SUV for the Fire Dept. and acquire lawn mowers for the DPW. Another appropriated $1.153M for many capital items and the third appropriates $5.145M to construct artificial turf fields at Normandy Park.
A number of resolutions were passed, some that include the County sharing the Belford Compost Site with the Township and renewing the SCAT agreement with the County.
