The Easter Bunny Visits Patients at The Unterberg Children’s Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center

For the third year, the authors behind the children’s book, “The Bunny with the Basket® & the Golden Egg” joined with the Easter Bunny to deliver Easter gifts to pediatric patients at The Unterberg Children’s Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center, an RWJBarnabas Health facility.

Monmouth County residents and authors Jennifer Diehl, Shauna Murray and Lisa Rettino and illustrator Brian Meulener donated Easter bags filled with treats, plush toys and copies of their children’s book, “The Bunny with the Basket & the Golden Egg,” which tells the tale of the Easter Bunny’s helpers. The story combines customs from the authors’ own families in a fun tale to create a new, fun Easter tradition.
