Eduardo Castillo Candidate for the Monmouth County Commission

County Commissioner Candidate Eduardo Castillo on why he's Running for the Monmouth County Commission

My name is Eduardo Castillo, and I'm running to be the next Monmouth County Commissioner. The Monmouth County commission deals with managing the county budget, passing county wide ordinances, appointing county officials and members to boards, commissions and authorities, authorizing expenditures and bonds, and Supervising the administration of county government.

After years of inefficient Monmouth County Republican Governance, it's time for a change.

No more to illegal wage increases for County Commissioners, no more increasing taxes on residents by 20+ million more without public consultation, and no more attempts at seizing private commodities just for commercial use. It's time that we had a County Commission that fights for us, and looks out for our communities, as well as a County Commission that gives residents a seat on the table, and isn't unaccountable, and closed to the public.

I'm running as a Democratic Primary Write in Candidate. The Primary is the nomination process that comes before the general election, so I won't run in the general as that would only split the Democratic Vote, I plan to run in the primary only on June 2nd. I am the only candidate who's openly campaigning for this position, I am the only candidate who is addressing the local issues affecting our communities here in Monmouth, and soon enough I'll be the only candidate with a competitive platform. Write in candidates have won competitive primaries before, and with your help we can cross the finish line. Thank you.
