The Middletown Arts Center is hosting two Adult Milonguero Style Tango Workshops on May 14 sponsored by the dance social group Tango Pantera. The first workshop runs from 1 - 2:20 p.m., and the second is from 2:30 - 3:50 p.m.
The workshops will feature world-renowned dancers Luiza Paes and Julio Bassan. Both novice and experienced dancers are invited to join the MAC throughout the day for the professional workshops, as well as to participate in an authentic Argentine Tango milonga (dance social) in the evening. Seating is available for guests not participating in the dance portion of the evening program.
Workshops are $35 each, or two for $60, which includes admission to the evening performance. A partner is not necessary to register. Leather or suede sole shoes required.
