The Midletown Arts Center caps it's day of hosting Argentina's brightest stars with an Argentine Tango Milonga (dance social) from 7 p.m. until midnight.
Guests are invited to explore the technique, mechanics and musicality of Argentine Tango and music, enjoying the performances of Luiza Paes, Julio Bassan, Josefina Scaglione, and Juan Pablo Jofre Romarion. Performances and milongas/dance socials will alternate throughout the evening, giving those who just can;t sit still a chance to get up and strut their stuff. Leather or suede sole shoes required.
At 7 p.m., an adult Intro to Tango Workshop will be led by Tango Pantera’s Lee Sager, followed at 8 p.m. by the performances and milongas.
