The Monmouth Museum is hosting the juried art exhibition "Art of Illusion" in the main gallery through Apr. 29.
"Art of Illusion" features artwork that presents a link between perception, appearance and reality. Works explore ideas of expectation and illusion while displaying a visual image that is not quite as it first appears.
Both two and three-dimensional works will be represented, incorporating a variety of styles including tromp l?oeil, photorealism, surrealism, and optical illusion.

The exhibit is free with admission to the museum.
Admission prices are $7 per person. Museum members and children 2 and under are admitted free.

Brookdale students and staff are also offered free admission to the museum with a valid i.d.
