Sandy Hook Bird Observatory is hosting a birding field trip at the Hook, usually meeting in parking lot B - Bayberry at 8:45 a.m.
SHBO senior naturalist Scott Barnes leads the group on the hunt for passerine migrants, returning waterfowl, raptors, and maybe a rarity or two.
Single trips are $15 for members, $20 for nonmembers, and $10 for SHBO volunteers, with no cancellations or refunds.

Trips go in any weather, usually to midafternoon. Bring lunch, weather-appropriate gear, binoculars, and scopes when appropriate. Include a hat, insect repellent, rain gear, boots, etc.,depending on the weather.
