Community Fossil Hunt at Poricy Park

Poricy Park is sponsoring a Community Fossil Hunt from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Meet at the Nature Center for the trek to Poricy Brook.

An experienced guide will prepare participants for a trip back in time 65 million years. Trowels and sifters will be provided, and the guide will help you identify your treasures.

Dress for the weather, and wear rubber boots or old sneakers, as your feet will get wet. Sandals and slip-on footwear is prohibited. Also, bring a bag to hold your five best finds.
