Poricy Park presents it's classic event, Kites!
An instructor will share kite flying history and safety, then show you how to make your own kite. Participants will each construct and decorate a kite and then launch their creation on the Nature Center lawn, weather permitting.
This event is appropriate for adults and supervised school-age children. Younger children are also welcome with adult assistance.

Fee is $5 for members, $8 for non-members, and is based on one kite per participant.
