‘Pure Expression’ Art Exhibit Free Opening Reception

The Arts Access Program of the Matheny Medical and Educational Center is displaying paintings created by their talented artists with disabilities in an exhibit titled “Pure Expression.”

The exhibit will run from Feb. 12 to Mar. 18 at the Monmouth Museum, with a free reception on opening day. The reception is open to the public.

All the paintings were created by members of the Matheny Medical and Educational Center’s Arts Access Program, located in Peapack.

Founded at Matheny in 1993, this alternative fine arts program offers opportunities for unlimited self-expression in the arts. Matheny is a special hospital and educational facility for children and adults with medically complex developmental disabilities.
