Reading Buddies

Reading Buddies pairs teens with a child in grades 1-3 for the 4 week reading buddy program, Wednesdays, 2/2-2/23. The younger buddy will read to and be mentored by their teen buddy, many of whom aspire to be teachers. Registration is required for children and begins 1/18 at the children's help desk. Space is limited to 25 children. Teens interested in becoming buddies may contact Ellie Strbo at estrbo@mtpl.org or visit the reference desk for an application. Adult staff members will supervise.
