For those aged 6 and up, the Middletown Township Public Library is marking Roald Dahl Day with a party in honor of the author.
The celebration will include treats, stories, and a showing of the movie “James & the Giant Peach,” on the 50th Anniversary of the book.
According to the library, “Whether you know what a Whangdoodle is or not...you’ll have a blast learning, playing and celebrating together! Come dressed as your favorite Roald Dahl character- Oompa Loompa, Willy Wonka, Fantastic Mr. Fox or James himself! Visit our display in the Children’s Department to learn more about his stories of unforgettable characters, language & adventure!”
