'Toast to Dennis' Benefit for Zilinski Memorial Fund

The Lt. Dennis W. Zilinski II Memorial Fund will host its third annual Toast to Dennis, on Sept. 10 from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. at the Rumson home of Randy and Maureen McDonald.

The fund was created to honor First Lieutenant Dennis W. Zilinski II, United States Army, who grew up in Middletown. He was killed in action while deployed in Iraq on Nov. 19, 2005. 

Tickets are $125. R.S.V.P by Sept. 2.

The donations raised by this wine and food event will benefit the fund, which supports programs that assist wounded soldiers and their families, and provides scholarships to Zalinski alma mater, Christian Brothers Academy.  More information can be found at the charity’s website www.runwithdennis.org. 

Former White House Chef John Grifo is participating for the third year and will prepare an extensive tasting menu with an array of fresh seafood and hors d' oeuvres. Grifo has been honored as one of southern NJ’s top 25 chefs by Atlantic City magazine. 

Valet parking will be provided.
