'Family Dinner' Lecture At Middletown Library Sept. 12

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — The Middletown Public Library will host a lecture and discussion on "Family Food Traditions" this Wednesday, September 12 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Led by Thirsty Radish founder Vanessa Young, this program is offered free of charge. You don't need to register in advance; all are invited to simply show up Wednesday evening.
About the event: Food traditions enhance family bonding, promote well-being, and celebrate your cultural heritage. Learn how to identify and carry on meaningful traditions for yourself, family, and friends. We will explore how and why to creatively document food memories, preserve recipes and photos, and even create new traditions. Tips, tools, and inspiration will help you to infuse joy and meaning into the family eating experience.

Vanessa Young is a writer, recipe developer, and instructor whose education work is focused on the intersection of food and culture.
