T&M Associates engineering firm was founded in Middletown in 1966 by Richard Noble and Richard Schulz.

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — T&M Associates in Middletown is celebrating their 60th anniversary in business this year.

T&M Associates was founded in 1966 by Richard Noble and Richard Schulz. It started as a seven-person operation. T&M has now grown to employ more than 375 people, and does engineering work for public- and private-sector clients nationwide.

In New Jersey, T&M has done major work rebuilding from Superstorm Sandy, working on removing lead pipes and PFAS (forever chemicals) and modernizing traffic flows on some of the busiest roads in the state.

“This milestone is a testament to the dedication of our employees, the loyalty of our clients and the strength of the values this firm was built on,” said Gary Dahms, T&M President and CEO. “As we honor our past, we’re equally focused on shaping the future — delivering sustainable solutions, strengthening communities and continuing to push innovation forward.”

T&M does engineering work in five core markets: Buildings and Facilities, Community and Land Development, Environmental, Transportation and Water.
