Four Car Accidents In Middletown Monday Night

There were at least four different car crashes in Middletown Monday evening, Nov. 20. Here's where they occurred:

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Even though the night before Thanksgiving is usually known as one of the most dangerous driving nights of the year, there were at least four different car crashes in Middletown Monday evening, Nov. 20.

According to Middletown EMS volunteers, who responded to all the crashes, they are:

  • 5:21 p.m. - A two-car cash occurred at Red Hill Road by the Parkway North entrance ramp. One person was transported by Holmdel First Aid to Bayshore Medical Center for a medical condition. Middletown EMS, as well as Middletown and Holmdel fire departments also responded. (Holmdel got involved because the accident was on the Middletown/Holmdel border.)
  • 7:30 p.m. - A two-car accident occurred at Highway 36 and Leonard Avenue. Middletown Township First Aid & Rescue Squad and Lincroft First Aid & Rescue Squad transported people with minor injuries to Riverview Medical Center. The Middletown Fire Department assisted at the scene.
  • 7:38 p.m. - Just a couple traffic lights away, there was another two-car crash at Highway 36 and Appleton Avenue, and in this one the occupants had to be extricated from the car. Middletown Township First Aid and Lincroft First Aid & Rescue Squad transported patients to Riverview Medical Center. Middletown fire and Leonardo First Aid & Rescue Squad also responded.
  • 8:06 p.m. - A car accident occurred at Highway 35 and Buckingham Circle. It is unknown how many vehicles were involved. One person transported to Riverview Medical Center by Port Monmouth First Aid Squad.
