Four Monmouth County High Schools Make List Of Best In New Jersey
Schools in Middletown and Freehold were among the top 20 in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report's Best High Schools list.

Four Monmouth County high schools have been ranked among the best high schools in the state according to U.S. News & World Report’s Best High Schools list.
All are part of the Monmouth County Vocational School District.
Biotechnology High School in Freehold took the number one spot in New Jersey and was ranked number 19 nationally, while High Technology High School in the Lincroft section of Middletown took the number 2 and 20 spots, respectively.

The Academy Of Allied Health And Science in Neptune was number six in the state, and number 142 in the nation.
Marine Academy Of Science And Technology in Highlands was number 16 in New Jersey and 314 in the nation.

Those four schools took gold medals in the national rankings.
Communications High School in Wall did not make the New Jersey rankings list, but was recognized with a bronze medal nationally.
U.S. News & World Report reviewed more than 21,000 public high schools nationwide. Schools were judged “based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college,’’ according to the website.
