Free Iced Coffee Wednesday At Duck Donuts

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — Stop into Duck Donuts tomorrow, Wednesday, June 21, and get a free, regular-sized iced coffee with no purchase necessary, the store announced. Customers must present a printed or mobile coupon, available at duckdonuts.com, or on the company’s Facebook page.

Duck Donuts currently has three locations in New Jersey: On Highway 35 in Middletown, in Green Brook Township (Somerset County) and on the Jersey Shore in Avalon.

“The first day of summer is a much anticipated day for adults and children and what better way to celebrate than with a refreshing iced coffee paired with vacation-inspired, warm, delicious and made-to-order donuts,” says owner Russ DiGilio. “The summer solstice is the longest day of the year and Duck Donuts is excited to help its customers stay energized throughout the day with a free, 16-ounce iced coffee.”

June 21 also marks National Selfie Day and the best way to celebrate is by taking the perfect “selfie” to share with friends and followers. Duck Donuts is looking for customers to share their best selfie moments featuring their free iced coffee using hashtags such as #SelfieOlympics and #IcedCofFREE. DiGilio had the idea for the original Duck Donuts in 2006 while he was on a family vacation in yes, Duck, North Carolina.

By 2011, Duck Donuts had expanded to four Outer Banks locations and the donut business was so successful that DiGilio was continuously approached about franchise opportunities and by fans who begged for a Duck Donuts in their communities. The first franchise opened in Williamsburg, VA, in 2013, and there are now 43 open franchise locations and more than 120 additional contracts.
