Girl Scout Troop 1157 Raises More Than $1,000 for RAGE - Residents Against Giant Electric

Girl Scout Troop 1157 at Nutswamp Elementary School in Middletown lived up to the Girl Scout oath "to help people at all times," by supporting their community and raised more than $1,000 for RAGE - Residents Against Giant Electric. The girls sold tickets to Middletown Ice World's NJ Titans v. Rebel Astons hockey game that included a session of free skating afterward. Each ticket's net proceeds benefitted RAGE and its fight to oppose the power lines that would be directly next to Poricy Park Nature Conservancy and behind Fairview Fields that the girls use for scouting outings as well as sports and outdoor activities.
